The Parks in and around Mililani
Did you know there are nine parks in Mililani Oahu? Mililani sits in the center of the island with numerous parks, dog parks, cute parks and walking parks all throughout the community. Here’s a rundown of the most popular parks in Mililani and what they offer.
Launani Park – this park is located at 95 – 515 Wikao St in North Mililani. It runs along the stream in Lainani Valley and includes a long walking path, outdoor gyms, tennis and basketball courts and playgrounds. There’s a lot of parking in the parking lot but no street parking.
Makaunulau Park – This is a small community Park located in the heart of Mililani was a lot of open green space, residential homes surrounding, a green belt, plenty of parking and yearly activities. With over 16 acres, people have used to this park for soccer games, baseball fields, basketball and there’s a small playground.
Mililani Ravine Park – This small community Park sits between two residential neighborhoods featuring a long pathway perfect for relaxing, jogging or walking the dog. There’s not a lot of parking but you can park across the street at the middle school.
Mililani Mauka Community Park – This community field is always well-maintained and features restrooms, partially enclosed fenced areas, water fountains, lots of open green space and it’s perfect for sports, tag, games or simply letting the dogs and the kids run.
Michael S Nakamura Neighborhood Park – The small neighborhood park is located in the center of several residential homes right across the street from the Mililani high school and south of the town center. There is a large green space that’s mapped out for sports courts and fields and the YMCA parking lot, basketball courts and swimming pool are located adjacent to the park.
Mililani District Park – Located in the central part of the residential neighborhoods of Mililani is a small park that features lots of green space, to baseball diamonds, tennis courts and parking. There’s also a small playground.
Mililani Mauka Gazebo and Dog Park – located at 95 – 1860 Meheula Blvd, this park is situated next to the Mililani park-and-ride along interstate H2. There’s a small dog park, green space, parking, baseball diamonds and of course a beautiful gazebo to cool off in.
Ukuwai Park – This is awfully close to the Gazebo Park next door and is sometimes considered one and the same. It’s close to the Mililani elementary school and provide easy access to numerous residential neighborhoods, apartments and condominiums throughout Mililani.
Kuulako Park – This is a small playground park close to the Mililani middle school soccer fields, the Mililani Ike elementary school and in the heart of several residential neighborhoods. It provides a small playground, green space and trails.
