There are 26 golf courses throughout the island of Oahu including private, resort, public and municipal courses. Many of which are golf clubs or country clubs and several are public or municipal. This is a breakdown of some of the public and private golf courses throughout Oahu and the homes and real estate prices and styles that surround the course and offer golf views.
On Oahu’s North Shore there are three fabulous golf courses including the Kahuku Golf Course and two Turtle Bay Resort golf courses; the Arnold Palmer course and the George Fazio course. There are not a lot of residential property surrounding this golf course as most are just off the Kamehameha Hwy a little west of the courses themselves. These homes range from about $350,000 to over $2 million depending on size and condition. There are a few townhomes in this area but there’s not a lot of golf view homes in the North Shore.
In Central Oahu, there are six golf courses including the Hawaii country club, Millilani golf course, the Pearl country club, the Royal Kunia country club, Ted Makalena golf course and the Waikele country club. Around Mililani there are several beautiful homes and real estate properties up against the golf course that start at about $400,000. The Hawaii country club is located just west of Mililani and offers a local style course with a good variety of challenges. The Mililani golf course is located right in town and probably has the most homes and property surrounding this public course. Home prices in Mililani range from about $150,000-$850,000 and you can usually find beautiful homes with views of the course.
The Pearl country club and Royal Kunia Country Club are located in Aeia and Waipahu and offer some of the most breathtaking views of any course on the island. Homes along the Royal Kunia course are found along Anonui Street and range about $450,000-$800,000 and may offer small but private views of the golf course. The Pearl country club offers beautiful views from nearby town homes and condominiums just north of the course itself with properties ranging about $300,000 on up.
The Ted Makalena Golf Course has probably some of the most homes surrounding this course located directly in the heart of Waipahu. These homes, condominiums and townhouses start at about $150,000 and go to about $700,000.
The Waikele Country Club is the final of several in this area and is a planned residential development surrounding the golf course just west of Honolulu above Pearl Harbor. It has a Ted Robinson designed with just enough architects signature water features to satisfy any golfer. homes around this premier golf course range from $400,000-$995,000 and primarily consist of single family homes with two or three car garages and layouts of over 2000 ft.². This is probably one of the most popular golf club residential neighborhoods on the island.
The golf courses on the Windward Coast are located just north of Honolulu on the other side of the island. There are five golf courses here with a variety of homes and residential neighborhoods surrounding almost all.
The Bayview Golf Park is a private and exclusive golf Park with just a few residences nestled around the northwest corner. These homes start at about $800,000.
The Koolau and Pali Golf courses are located south of interstate H3 and both are public for daily fees and municipal there are no homes surrounding these golf courses.
The Royal Hawaiian golf and country club is located just off the street from the previous two golf courses but also does not have a lot of homes surrounding the course itself. Most homes in this area start at about $900,000 and can easily top out at over $2 million for luxury estates. Several of these homes may have peekaboo views of the golf course.
The Olomana Golf Club requires daily fee that is located south along Kalanianaole Hwy but also does not have many homes or property surrounding the course itself.
